The Public Health Office (PHO) of the Indian Pharmaceutical Association Maharashtra State Branch (IPA MSB SF) organized “The Sixth Commandment” in the campus of Bombay College of Pharmacy. It was the first event by PHO, adding to the public health campaigns. The event observed 76 teams from all the pharmacy colleges in Mumbai with around 200-230 students.
The event was divided into three rounds. The first round involved solving mystery puzzles and riddles. All the teams participated here. This round consisted of 26 questions, to be solved in 25 minutes.
Fourteen teams were qualified for the next round. This round consisted of the participants’ cryptograms, ciphers and anagram solving skills. 25 minutes were allotted to decipher 12 codes.
Only four teams entered round three, the final round. Each team had to find four sets of clues, in colour coded envelopes, hidden on the grounds of Bombay College of Pharmacy. Each clue contained a part of the mystery to be solved and led to the next clue as well. After procuring all the 4 envelopes, each team had to solve the mystery puzzle in the classroom.
The event concluded with Narsee Monji Institute of Management Studies winning the first and second positions; Dr Bhanuben Nanavati College of Pharmacy won the third position.
The event was managed, handled and executed accurately, thus resulting in its success.
