Rx SPORTS 2018-19

      

According to tradition sports committee of IPA MSB SF 2018-19 organised it’s Rx sports event with same vibrancy. The events took place with dazzling display of all participants. It comprised of Football, Cricket, Volleyball, Throwball, Gaming, Pool, Relay. Also Kho-kho and turf cricket were introduced newly this year. This events betided from 28^th December 2018 to 31^st January 2019 with active participation of 18 colleges.

     The events commenced with gaming comprising of Blur, CS, FIFA and pool on 28^th and 29th December 2018 which was held at Prime mall, Irla. Registrations had begun at 8:30 am and they were over by 10:00 followed by the beginning of the events with great ebullience. The event wrapped up on 29th till 7 pm.

     The most awaited events of Rx that is outdoors was held on 5^th and 6^th January 2019 at Bhartiya Vidyapeeth College of Pharmacy, Belapur. It included volleyball, throwball, tug of war, box cricket, Relay and Kho-kho. Registration had begun at 8.30 am and the event started with exuberant display of all youngsters at 10 am. All the teams competed for winning spot with a great zeal. A short break was given for all the participants and referees, and after that event again started with same spirit. All the teams played with utmost dedication and thus the day ended with semi finals of Kho-kho and relay. The final rounds for this events was conducted on 19^th of January.

      3^rd event of Rx was Turf cricket which held on 13^th January 2019 at Kohinoor International school,Kurla. It started at 8.30 am with registration of teams. It was a paid event. The event commenced with great enthusiasm. Regular cheers erupted from different corners of the field. The event concluded at 4 pm.

      4^th  event of Rx was Open Football conducted on 19^th of January. The event started by final round of relay followed by football. The registration started at 8.30 am and ended up at 10 am followed by kick off of the football game. The referees were fair and unbiased and carried the match smoothly. All the teams played with undying sportsmanship and dedication. The event ended up at 7 pm and everyone left with a broad smile on their face.

      5^th event of Rx  that is indoors which includes Carrom, chess and table tennis was scheduled on the first day of Rx that is 30^th January at Bombay college of pharmacy. All the 3 events begun simultaneously  following the registration of participants. The crowd did not fail to cheer the participants and the last day of Rx sports ended with a bang.

     Although it was last day of Rx sports but the enthusiasm was the same as first day. The organisation of all this events by sports committee was unimpaired and masterly. All the teams competed sportingly with applaudable spirit. And the Rx sports came to an end successfully.

On the final day of Rx festival 3rd February, BNCP college was awarded the title and trophy of Best Sports for their tireless team spirit.
