Rx Ekansh is a grand intercollegiate fest that was organized by the IPA-MSB-SF on 10th, 11th and 12th March, 2023.
The Indian Pharmaceutical Association - Maharashtra State Branch - Students' Forum is better known as the IPA-MSB-SF. It organizes various events and activities for the overall professional development of pharmacy students in Mumbai and the surrounding areas. The crowning glory of IPA-MSB-SF is its annual fest Rx. This year, the theme of Rx was 'Rx Ekansh: Imagine, Invent, Inspire'; a scientific wonderland that navigates through the labyrinth of mysteries! This theme was selected to bring together the essence of the world of pharmaceutical development and the mysteries of science and unravels a new world of wonders. This fest was successful only by the constant guidance of Dr. Anand Shedge, Mentor of IPA-MSB-SF, and Vice-President of IPA-MSB.
Rx Ekansh was hosted in Bombay College Of Pharmacy. The event witnessed bunch of creative and talented participants and more than 1000 visitors throughout the 3-day period. The first day of RX Ekansh began with seminar on topic, 'Healthcare Management for Pharmacy Students'. This event was in collaboration with S P Mandali’s Prin. L. N. Welingkar Institute of Management Development and Research.
On the first day of Rx Ekansh, Evaluation of Health Campaigns was done. Numerous events like Pharmaquiz, Dreamcity, Solo Dancing/ Duet Dancing, Solo and Duet Singing, Buzzwords and Student Of The Year, were conducted.
The second day of Rx Ekansh saw a plethora of new and old events like, Poster Presentation, AD It, PharmaQuiz, Gully Boy, showbizz, Into Your Shoes and Fashion Show and many more.
The third and final day of Rx Ekansh saw thrilling events like Treasure Hunt, the most anticipated technical event, Poster Presentation, Nukkad Natak, switch It Up and compelling events like Convince Me and many more. The show stopper for third Day was Group Dance and turned out to be a truly mesmerizing experience.
The conclusion to this grand fest came in the form of its Closing Ceremony. Colleges had competed for many prizes like Best Cultural College, Best Sports College, etc. The ultimate highlight was the Best College Trophy, the results for which were announced by the esteemed judges. Not only it breaks the monotony of a fixed routine, but also acts as an excellent opportunity to recharge, meet and bond with different students across colleges. RX Ekansh gala ushered in an overwhelming spirit of joy and merriment in the college premises. The Rx provided students an opportunity to showcase their creativity and dedication to extracurricular pursuits and create a memorable day. All in all, Rx Ekansh continued and bettered the enchanting legacy of Rx. The core team of 11 resilient Heads, and the entire team of over 100 members, worked hard day and night to make this year successful.
