Buzz Words

 Indian Pharmaceutical Association conducts the Rx fest every year at Bombay College of pharmacy, Santa Cruz where the students of different pharmacy colleges within Maharashtra gets a platform to showcase their talent in various aspects . This year the fest was conducted on 25th-28th January,2018. The fest consists of various cultural events as well as techfest .This year the Editorial committee has organized an event named "buzzword" (spell bee) on 27th January,2018, Saturday. A spelling bee is a competition in which contestants are asked to spell a broad selection of words, usually with a varying degree of difficulty. Total 13-14 colleges participated in the competition in a team of two. The event consisted of two rounds. First round was named as unscramble the words. In this round the competitors had to solve the jumbled words and also find the word by its meaning in a given limit of time. Round 1 was eliminator round from which top 6 teams were qualified in the next round. In round two the  words were pronounced and the team had to spell it correctly. At the end of this round three winners were decided.
